Magic slider card
Yesterday I saw a video on YouTube about making a magic slider card. (I will list video link below.) It was very fun. So I decided to make one.
This is what I made today. I got happy mail from MFT. So I decided to chose MFT new stamp set to make this magic slider card.
I made A2 size cardbase, a white cardstock 4x7 in, a white cardstock 3 1/4x 31/4 in and a same size acetate. I stamped balloon image on the same position at small white cardstock and acetate by Misti. Here Misti is very useful. I did very bad job on acetate. I don't have staz on. I try twice and embossed. It's still have some smashed. I gave up this time. Hope next time I can get clear images. I colored balloon on white cardstock.
I used glue dot to glue is to pieces together. I pouched small circle to fold half and cut of bottom and stuck over the glue dot position. I pounch a tiny hole and added twines for pulling slider later.
I fold 4x7 cardstock half. For folding side cut the length of 3 1/4 to matching cardstock with balloon' s length. Put acetate piece on top. And white card with colored balloon hide inside. Like a sandwich.
It's hard to explain. Please watch Dawn's video that I linked below.
I die cut a window on cardbase by MFT stitched square dies. This window size is only matching your image(my balloon) .
I glued folded 4x7 card on the cardbase that open side to up and can show balloon through square window.
Finally I decorated the front of card. This card can't be opened like normal, only pulls the twines to slide.
