Wishing you sunny days -- Unity stamp

I received my order from Unity stamp last week. Very cute design. I love it.  Today I started to play them. First I chose this sunny peep stamp. Very cute and simple image.

I used Gelli arts gel printing and acrylic paint to make background.

I stamped sunny peep on the watercolor paper. I watercolored all images and sky and ground. After dry thoroughly, I generally tore off the edges by hand. Before glued it to background sheet, I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set.

I only glued the center area by double side adhesive tape. I lift the four corner to make dimension.

Wherever you go, go with all your heart

Last week I went to Hobby Lobby I found canvas panels 50%off. So decided to buy some for my cardbase. It is thin but kind of heavy. I want to hang it on the wall or leave it on the shelf or give my friend for a gift. It's not for mail. I think it good way to try.

I used 140lb watercolor paper to color sky and earth. Let's dry. Then I stamped water droplets and sentiment. I only stamped part of water droplets. After I stepped ink pad, I wiped some droplets ink off . Then I got what I wanted. It's very simple.

I cut the edge and glue it on the canvas panels. I like white background for this card to make clear look. I glued 5x7 canvas panel on 6x6 one to make dimension.

Today I made this card by using Wild at Heart stamp set from Gina K. Designs. This is third time I used it. I will say I love this stamp set, specially for background. I will continue to play it.

I used my Misti to stamp this large image to cardstock. I used different color on stamp to get mix color result. Then I stamped sentiment from the same stamp set on the white tissue paper and added Stain finished glue on all over card.

After it dry thoroughly, I cut the edge border and sponged the same color to card. Also sponged the card edge.

I added foam tape to glue card to cardbase. It made a dimension.

What's inside?

It is close to the end of school year. I start more busy than usual.  Various classes and activities start to rehearsal and recital. It's squeezed my craft time.

Yesterday I made this card, but not completely finished. Today I am done. I like cool cat stamp set. I thought it can use for new balloon set will be fun. So I created this card. Looks like she is so cautious: what's inside? Then balloon brings her to sky without preparing.

I sponged green, brown and stone color on the white cardstock. Then die cut and got land, trees, road and fence. Also I die cut balloon on the white cardstock for background and fuss cut pieces of balloon by new MFT pattern paper to decorate balloon. I cut the cat and colored it. I also added color to grass land to make dimension.

I colored blue sky on the cardbase. Also die cut a note window on the grass . I thought this is fun. Finally I glue everything on the card.

Water droplets

Since I bought this water droplets texture stamp, I wanted to use on it every project. I really really like it. Today I made this simple card to say hello with all my friends.

Because this is simple card, so I chose the linen texture cardstock for the cardbase. I sponged really light blue and green color on right lower corner of card. Then I sponged this two colors on the water droplets stamp. The position is matching the color on the card. Stamped it on the card.

I die cut the hello sentiment by black cardstock. Before cut it, I added the double side adhesive paper on the back. So after die cut, I just peeled off back paper and stuck hello on the card. It's easy way. Also I glued three clear drop over the hello to look like raindrops. I chose clear one because I wanted it looks like in the air doesn't show.

Magic slider card

Yesterday I saw a video on YouTube about making a magic slider card. (I will list video link below.) It was very fun. So I decided to make one.

This is what I made today. I got happy mail from MFT.  So I decided to chose MFT new stamp set to make this magic slider card.

I made A2 size cardbase, a white cardstock 4x7 in, a white cardstock 3 1/4x 31/4 in and a same size acetate. I stamped balloon image on the same position at small white cardstock and acetate by Misti. Here Misti is very useful. I did very bad job on acetate. I don't have staz on. I try twice and embossed.  It's still have some smashed. I gave up this time. Hope next time I can get clear images. I colored balloon on white cardstock.

I used glue dot to glue is to pieces together. I pouched small circle to fold half and cut of bottom and stuck over the glue dot position. I pounch a tiny hole and added twines for pulling slider later.

I fold 4x7 cardstock half. For folding side cut the length of 3 1/4 to matching cardstock with balloon' s length.  Put acetate piece on top. And white card with colored balloon hide inside. Like a sandwich.
It's hard to explain. Please watch Dawn's video that I linked below.

I die cut a window on cardbase by MFT stitched square dies.  This window size is only matching your image(my balloon) .

I glued folded 4x7 card on the cardbase that open side to up and can show balloon through square window.

Finally I decorated the front of card. This card can't be opened like normal, only pulls the twines to slide.

I love those cute monkeys. I can't stop to play with them. Today I made this card using a hanging monkey and I made some falling bananas. It looks he can't hold more bananas. So cute.

I stamped monkey and bananas first. Then stamped monkey on post it to make a mask covered on monkey. And I stamped the tree branch. After took off mask paper, it looked like monkey 's tail hanging on the tree.

I used the liquid mask to cover all images. Waited it dry thoroughly. Then I sponged Distress ink tumbled glass to card for background color. Very light but clean. I rubbed off mask and started colored monkey, bananas and tree branch by color pencils.

Wild at heart and water droplets

I created this card by wild at heat stamp set from Gina K. Designs and water droplets from Designs by Ryn. I really like those two stamp sets. When I first time to watch Melanie Muenchinger's video on YouTube. I rushed to Send an order from Gina K. website.  I like this background flower stamp. After I received it, I tried a lot times on the paper. Different brand ink and cardstock will get different images. I will continue to play it.

For water droplets texture stamp set, I ordered almost all from Ryan's website. First time I saw the picture from Pinterest, I just got shocked. That's water droplets looks like real one. I can't believe that's a stamp. That picture didn't give more information, even didn't mention was the name. So I started research on google. Finally I got information. It designs by Ryn from Canada. Likely Ryn has her website to sell it to worldwide. So I sent my first order.  After I got them, I started to play it on my card. Also I started to follow mixed media videos. Today I try it on my card.

I stamped the background flowers on my cardstock by mini Misti because it is large image and I can stamp many time without problem. Then I stamped water droplets on a white tissue paper. I left water droplets on the position that where I wanted on the card. Then I used Mod Podge satin finished glue it on the card. I brushed glue all over the card to give it satin finished look.

After dry thoroughly, I stamped sentiment on it and give the flowers a tiny color. After I glue it on the cardbase, I added a black line along the card to make dimension.

I stamped monkey holding a balloon and tiny gift box. I used Prismacolor pencils to color them. Then used Dove blender pen to blend them.

I used sentiment from the same stamp set, but I wiped off " go banana".

I added the Jewel Drop to balloon. And around sentiment.

I used the stitched rectangle die to color paper smaller. I added a pattern paper under top cardstock to make a color change. I don't want too white. Then glued on the cardbase.
