Dream is beautiful (Update to add the ATCoin picture)

I was invited to join to swap the artist trading coin at my Facebook group. It's first time for me. I need search what's the artist trading coin. I tried to my very first ATCoin. I can't share it here right now because the swap didn't reveal  But I used the leftover make a card.

Update: I added the ATcoin picture here. Thank you Pam for taking the picture.

I sprayed the Lindy's Stamp Gang spray on the heavy weight watercolor paper. I used the yellow color on the all surface and the orange on the bottom. And let the two colors blended together. This spray include the shimmer. So I don't need add the shimmer on the card.

I stamped the small dragonfly three times on the cut panel. And I stamped some tiny black dots on the card to add texture.

I sponged the little dark color on the sentiment stickers. After glued the sentiment on the card, I drew the black lines around them. I also stuck the thin gold peel off on the both side of panel.

Supplies that I used:
Dragonfly stamp by Art-C stamp & die cut set is from Local Michaels store.
110 lb black cardstock is from local Michaels store too.

Happy Birthday, My Sweet Girl!

Today is my sweet girl 12th birthday. I made this Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel card for her. Lawn Fawn is her favorite brand and sweet cold ice cream and smoothie are her favorite food.

I followed Lawn Fawn's video to install this reveal wheel card. It's easy.

I stamped the different sentiments and colored them on different colors on the wheel. So when she turns the wheel, she will see the change.

I also stamped the ice cream and smoothie on the other white cardstock and colored them by alcohol markers.  I die cut them out and used the foam tape to make the dimension.

I felt I need add something on the bottom of card. so I used the same frame die to cut the pattern paper to make it matched with the white panel.

Happy Birthday, My Sweet Girl!

Altenew sweet peas thank you card

I bought some Altenew new released stamp sets to play. I make one card today by using this beautiful sweetest peas stamp bundle.

I die cut this sweet pea flower on the white cardstock. And sponged the colors on it. Then I put this flower back to die cut space and ink the fine line on it. I use the Misti to make this. It's so easy to do it.

I die cut the same flower on the white linen cardstock. I want it some texture, not boring plain white background. Then I sponged the green color on the bottom of card to middle part. I also stamped some dots on the card.

Finally I decided to add a black strip with gold embossed sentiment on the bottom of card. And added some clear drops on the card. It's hard to see on the picture.

I will enter this card to #AltenewChallenge.

It's your day!

After a long busy week, I finally had chance to sit down to watch World Cup of 2018(soccer) and make cards. I just reached the stamp set around me to do my job today.

On the father's day, I used this Seize the Day make a father's day card with my daughter. It's great stamp set. I thought I could use it make a lot of card.

I stamped the two cows image first and masked it. And stamped the mountain behind it. Then I used the circle die cut it out. and stamped the two birds. All of  this things, I used the linen light blue cardstock from Neenah cardstock. I just wanted to add texture and dimension. I will say I love linen texture cardstock.

I also add the deep navy flower washi tape under the circle. Wahsi tape is from my stash. I bought it from Amazon long time ago. But Amazon has ton of washi tape to choice.

I need mention that I stamped the sentiment by Distress Oxide Ink. It's unusual.  I tried the white pigment ink, but I felt to bright. I wanted to focus on circle.the light sentiment is great to match the washi tape.  Also the sentiment is very easy to see it on the real card. It's a little hard to catch it on the picture.

Under sea birthday card

I decided to start making birthday card recently because my daughter has many friends’ birthday coming. Although mostly time she did use card that I made. She likes to make cards for her friends by herself. Anyway I still prepared for her just in case. I enjoyed it.

Today I used the Sea of Textures stamp and die bundle to make my card. First, I used the oval die to cut a window. Any brand oval die works for this window depending what you have. Then I die cut some corals, sea grass and star fishes out. And sponged different color on it.

I also sponged the background color. And used the tiny fish die leftover to be a stencil to add the tiny fishes on the background card. I used the heavy hand and light hand  but the same color ink to make different color fishes. Then I stamped corals on the sand.

I touched background panel behind oval window by foam squares to make dimensions. I glued the all die cut pieces on it.

After all, I still felt too white about the front. Then I stamped some corals on it by second generation stamping.

We Make a Good Pear

Last month I found this great die set from the  Hobby Lobby clearance area. I thought it could be made into a fun card.

I die cut two pear and leaves out. I then sponged colors on to the die cut pieces. And added the shimmer in the pear center.  I stamped on the sentiment with VersaFine ink and used foam tape to add some dimension to the card.I decided to add a washi tape border. For the finishing touch I added some clear droplets to the card.

Happy Father’s Day!

Tomorrow is Father’s Day. I with my daughter made a card for her dad. We chose the Seize the Day clear mount stamp set that grabbed my eye from first saw it on the new catalog. Very simple image, but very pretty.

We stamped the 🐄 s on the white cardstock and also made the piece of mask for it. Then covered it by mask and stamped the mountains behind. We used the black ink for the front image and grey ink for mountains to make different distances.

We die cut the stitched rectangle frame to cover it. I sponged the very light hand grey on the frame to make it a little old style. We didn’t want to bright. We also stamped Happy Father’s Day on the white cardstock and cut strip. Then sponged the grey color too. This time we did a little heavy hand. We wanted he could see it.

Every little kindness makes the world brighter

Today I used the Rooted in Nature stamp set to make second card. I decided to make scene card by using trees from set.

This card is easy to make. I sponged the mountains by using retired ink pad elegant eggplant. I was sad it's retired. It's my most use one.  I tore the paper to mountains.

Then sponged the bright sky by yellow and orange color. In the center I used the very light pink color.

I stamped the tall tree and sentiment by the same eggplant color. Other short trees by retired wisteria wonder color. I thought I am a person that yearned for the past. I ordered all new ink pad, but still didn't open it yet.

You're Wonderful

From June 1, Stampin Up launched the new catalog for 2018-2019. I felt like it is new school year start. When I saw the new stamp set Rooted in Nature in OnStage. I decided I would get this one. This is large stamp set. Today I only used the growth ring one to make a card.

I put the Brusho Crystal Colour on the craft sheet and sprayed some water. Then smooshed the white card on it. After dry, I made the second time.

I stamped the growth ring on the card by early espresso ink then splash some ink on the card. I also stamped the dot on it.

For sentiment, I stamped the VersaFine ink then embossed by clear embossing powder. I got the layer result from background to growth ring to sentiment.

Words are Never Enough

Long time I didn't touch my Gelato. I decided to use it for leaves background today.

I brushed the Gesso on the whole card panel. After dry, I embossed the leaves on it. I used the different colors of Gelato on each leaf. Then I used the makeup sponge to puff them.

I stamped the tree ring on the other white card stock and fussy cut it out. I sponged the same color at the tree ring edge.

I embossed the sentiment on the early espresso cardstock. And cut it to the thin strip. I install every pieces on the cardbase.

Sailing Day

It was another sea day. I made this Sailing Day card on the ship. I brought new Stampin Up Sea of Textures and Lilypad Lake bundles with me. It was fun to craft on the board.

This time I used the Bristol paper to make this card because it was so easy to blend. I sponged the Distress Ink to make sea, sky and sand.I tore the purple tape to make waves.

I also brought a mini die cut machine with me. It was so useful and light to carry. I sponged the deep blue on the white card. Then I die cut the tiny fish and  glue it on the card panel.  I did the same thing for star fish.

I used the mini Misit to stamp the fish net on the card. I also colored the ships and cut it out.

I decided not adding any sentiment this moment. So I can use this card for later occasion.
