Life is better with you in it

The rain finally stopped. Outside was sunny and warm. It’s great weather to seat outside for a cup of tea.

I created this card under this mood. I stamped the lavender upside down from top. And colored them by blender pen.

I stamped the table set and colored by blender pen as well. I used the same color with stamp to color the chairs and table.

This card is simple but need some patience to color every small piece.

Moon night

I am back home! After 26 hours and 2 stops fly, I am back home. Very exhausted 😴 but it is worth. I visited my parents and family and celebrated Chinese New Year with them. So happy 😃.

Last night when I FaceTime with my mom, I made this moon night card. I didn’t think too much. Just grabbed paper to start my card along with talking with my mom.  I had no chance to visit mountains where I grew up this time. I missed that place.  So I thought that’s why I made this card.

I used The Waterfront stamp set for my card. I love this stamp set. This is my first picking up item in new catalog. I stamped front mountains by strip stamp in this set. And mountain stamp for behind mountains. Left some whit space between mountains that looked like clouds around mountains.

I punched 1”circle on post it note for covered moon. Then sponged two blue colors for sky. I touched very light yellow color for moon. And tapped tiny grey color on the moon too. I stamped migrating birds on the sky. This stamp is from stampscapes.com.

After completed the card, I cut it to smaller size and adde the night of navy card under the panel to make the thin frame.

Dream of flying

I thought I had a dream of flying to see mountains. In fact I am afraid of height. But this can’t stop me to love mountains. I grow up in high mountains area. My all dreams are from there.

Today I will fly to the other side of world 🌎. I hope I have time to back the mountains. I made this card today because I can’t wait to fly to home right now.

I die cut a circle and covered it on the white card panel. I tore the copy paper to sponge the mountains that always in my mind. I also covered a small circle to make sun.

After moved the covered mask paper, I stamped the flying boy and sentiment. Layered the panel on the navy cardstock and white cardbase.

You are simply amazing

I really like this amazing you stamp set. I thought I could use it make another card. So this time I tried watercolor smooshing technique.

I put the ink pad on the craft sheet and sprayed water on it. Then covered the watercolor paper on it. Tapped couple times until I was satisfied the result.

After drying, I used the new Sweet Soirée Decorative Masks to add the texture on the background. And sponged the same color on the edges.

I stamped the flower on the other white cardstock and colored it with shimmy pen. Then fussy cut out.

I directly stamped the sentiment on the background panel and glued the flower under the sentiment.

A flower thank you card

I have this beautiful rose die long time. But I only use it one time. I thought I should use it again. So this afternoon I made this card.

At beginning, I tried to use Color Brusho. But I wasn’t satisfied with result. Then I tried to use splash stamp that is from MFT. I believed you could use any brand name. I only have this on my hands.

I die cut small rose and leaves from large roses die, all on whisper white cardstock. I cut leaves out and glue it on the edge of rose. I use this for guide to stamp color on the other card for base.

It’s simple card but very fun.

Adventure — one color card

Every winter the mountains near my hometown are covered by fog almost every day. I have a trip to back my hometown late next week. Today I thought I could make scene only used light grey color. Mountains, lake and trees looked all covered by fog or smoke.

I used Stampin Up slate smoke ink. I used the first, second and third generation stamp skill to make this card. It’s very easy. Just followed your heart to make what scene you thought.

For the frame I die cut from Kat Scrappiness Stitched Rope Nested Rectangle Dies. Kat Scrappiness has a lot of great frame dies. I glued the acetate on the back of frame to make it like a picture in the frame.

Sentiment I used the Tim Holtz big chat stickers.
