Start Somewhere -- Hero Art
Before school year end, I planned this summer would visit Grand Canyon. But plans always fall behind changes. We went to east coast. However my daughter was still excited because we visited New York City.
I love this set of 4 stamp set about national parks from Hero Art. Today I decided to make this Grand Canyon one. I want to go there next year.
I stamped the image one the watercolor paper. I do use the watercolor pencil, but finally I didn't add water on it. Because I thought a little rough texture was goog for wild place. I colored it from center to outside. I used fine marker pen to extend both side mountain to the end of paper.
After coloring, I used Hero Art postage stamps dies third one from smallest to cut image out.
I chose the black cardstock for base. I cut the tiny foam tape to up the frame that I die cut out from colored image by postage stamps die. Then I glued colored Grand Canyon into the frame.
I wanted to add some thing below the image. So I decided to use washi tape that I just bought them from Target dollar zone. I taped light green one under the start somewhere one. It's two layers washi tape.
