You brighten my day
Last week I went to my local Joann store. I got some wood mount stamps. Today I used large one.
I stamped flowers on the white cardstock. Let's dry totally. Then I sponged the Distress ink seedless preserves to color whole card. From corner to center, the color changed from dark to light. At edge, I added some dusty concord.
I used finger tiny sponge to color flowers and leaves.
I stamped sentiment the the other white cardstock. I drew the edge line by black marker pen. And cut it. I used the foam foam tape to mount it on the card.
It's very simple but fun card.
Supplies that I used:
R112 Ranunculus Field by Stampendous

Distress ink seedless preserves, dusty concord, moved lawn, festive berries, scattered straw, fossilized amber, wild honey, shaded lilac and blueprint sketch.

I like the way you did this card. I have the same stamp but it has fewer flowers. I made a birthday card with it and used water color pencils to color the flowers a d perfect pearls it turned out pretty good. I am going to try your technique with pastel chalks. Thanks for your post.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I really enjoyed to see your card. I just tried different way to make background using the same stamp. I like those flowers. I will finish and post this week.
