Thinking of you

Today I made a very simple card. At beginning, I want to make a winter scene with snow. But in this stamp set I never used this lonely tree. So I changed my mind to use this lonely tree to make a card. Also out of my window it’s still fall season. Leaves just started to turn yellow and fell down.

I watercolor background by Stampin Up ink twice. After dry I stamped the tree and sentiment on it.

Then I die cut the round corner rectangle by MFT die set.

Holiday series -- snow globe shaker card

I find this beautiful die set fro UK magazine Paper Crater from Barnes & Noble. I also find a lot of great UK craft magazines from book store.

I die cut the snow globe frame and fussy cut the circle white card with the same size with globe frame.

I sponged the blue color on the embossed the sentiment. I tried to die cut twice, but the sentiment were still very light.  After sponging blue color, it's much better. I also colored the bird and other small place.

For background, I cut the snow band and sponged the deep blue sky. Glued some snow flakes on the sky too.

I glued the accent back on the globe frame and add the foam strip on the round globe frame. Added the sequins to make shaker card.

I chose the grey cardstock for base.

I die cut the house on the hill and sponged some snow bank. Stamped the sentiment. I used the glitter red pen to dot snow man's nose. And I glued the couple of snow flakes on the card too.

Another Lawn Fawn card made by Belle

Before Thanksgiving break finished, Belle made another Lawn Fawn winter card to prepare for Christmas giving her friend.

She thought snowy day the sky would be dark. So she chose to add the silver grey to make sky instead of all blue color.

She still used the glitter for her snow land. Added the colored penguin and igloo on the card.

Holiday series -- Let it snow

Today's card I used Elizabeth Craft Designs Reindeer dies. This is very Beautiful die set.

I die cut the reindeer, tree branch, snow bank and snowflakes.  Before I die cut snowflakes, I added the double side adhesive on the top of cardstock. After die cutting snowflakes out, I took off the cover sheet of adhesive and put the cool diamond glitter on it. Then I got the shiny white snowflakes.

I sponged Distress Oxide ink salt ocean on the Bristol card stock. and splashed the clear water. Then dried it by paper towel.

I directly put the crumble cake ink pad on the tree branches. Also I used blender pens to add color on the reindeer.

I die cut the white frame and used the foam tape to make dimension. I stamped the sentiment and every pieces on the cardbase.

Holiday series -- Merry & Bright

I decided to start holiday card series today. I used the Stampin Up Hearts come home stamp set to make today's card.

I chose the Bristol paper and Distress Oxide ink  to make my card today. I felt the Bristol paper is very easy to blend colors. I picked the wild honey, worn lipstick, fade jeans, wilted violet and black soot to make the sky.

I used the mask tape to cover the bottom of card for the ground, then  sponged the colors and splashed the water above it. I stamped houses, trees and Santa sleigh by VersaFine black ink.

I cut the sentiment stamp piece by piece because I wanted to stamp horizon style.

Finally I mounted the card on the thick cardbase.

Beautiful Lotus

I made this card on last Friday, but I had sick all weekend. I couldn’t do anything. Just stayed  on the bed. 😢. So I missed all of you whole weekend. I totally got wellnow.  I continued to finish  my blog today.

I colored the lotus with my card take you time. I fussy cut it out. But I have no idea attaching it on my card that day. Finally I left it behind for other project.

I used this pretty lotus for my today's card. I used the Lindy's gang made the shinny blue back ground for my card circle frame. I glued part of night of navy cardstock on this left shinny blue circle and cut it to fit the circle edge. I embossed the sentiment on the navy carsdstock and used the foam square to add lotus on.

Under this circle I added the washi tape that has traditional Chinese painting for lotus leaves and gold fish.

Wishing that your dreams come true

This retired Stampin Up world of dream is one of my favorite stamp set. I used it made Thinking of you and  other one I only post picture on my Facebook page.

For today's card, I stamped the plant on the white card stock first. Then used circle die to make a mask on copy paper. I covered the copy paper on the card and sponged the distress ink inside of circle. I dropped the water on the circle area and dried by paper towel.

I added the clear drops on the card circle area and Nuvo Jewel color drops on the white space.

I also cut the edge of card by paper trimmer that I bought from Aldi for $19.99.

Take your time

This stamp set made me remember park in south of China. Summer time, we sat on the bamboo chairs that was under the bamboo, drank the tea and watched the pretty lotus on the water. I felt I was back home.

I made this card. I only used three colors green, blue and grey. I skipped the red lotus. Red is too bright and pink is too pale.  I just want my card kept the cool color.

I stamped the bamboo and stone on the white Bristol cardstock. Then I watercolored it. I didn’t choose the watercolor paper this time. Just because wanted to try my new Bristol paper. I thought it was good.

After dry, I used the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die cut the paper and mounted on the kraft cardbase.

Winter Land

I watched the PB&J YouTube video to show how to make this winter land card. She made it so beautiful. After I watched her video, I ordered this stamp set and today I made a copy.

I used the Misti to stamp the all images by Ranger Archival ink water can. I can added any deep color over it. I used the Tombow brush marker color the bare tree branch to brown.

Then I embossed the all images by clear embossing powder. Misti is very useful this time.

I started to sponge the sky, sun and lake. I used the snow marker add the snow on the ground and branch.
The snow marker is very fun to use. You just draw anywhere you like to add snow. Then use the heat gun to heat it. You will get snow texture.

I didn't add any sentiment for this card because I didn't know what I will use for. So I leave it blank.

I die cut the tiny ballerinas and colored the dress by Copic marker. Sentiment was die cut from shimmy paper stack that I bought from Hobby Lobby.

I used the foam tape to mount the front paper to make dimension.
