What do you see?

Yesterday I received my package from Waffle Flower August release bundle. I love all August release. Color swatch stamp and color wheel are so useful, special for my recently my watercolor collection. I used my new  MaimeriBlu artist watercolor to paint my card.

This is a large stamp. I stamped it on the watercolor paper. Before I colored image, I drew the all leaves around the branches. This stamp only has branches, no leaves. It's good to add any style leaves for any season. Today I made a summer scene, so I drew the green leaves. Then I added a lot of dots around the branches.

After dry, I colored all image. I will say I really love the MaimeriBlu artist watercolors. I picked some colors tubes from Blick.com. The colors that I used ultramarine deep, Faience blue, prussian blue, primary blue cyan, payne's grey, raw sienna, yellow ochre, golden ochre, sandal red, hooker's green, sap green and neutral tint.

This card is 5x7 size.

Have a Lucky Day

I didn't find too many people use this stamp set to make projects. But personally I really like this stamp. It look like art. I did two cards(It's Your Day and Happy Father's Day) before.

I cut a white panel that smaller than A2 card. I also cut a same size mask paper. I tore mask paper inside to make a frame and touched on the white panel.

I stamped the left and cows image on the panel. I also made the mask for them and cover it. Then I stamped the mountain behind the cows.

I sponged the blue sky all around the space area. After took off the mask frame , I stamped sentiment.

Beautiful by Alexandra Renke

It's my favorite to make theme connecting water/ ocean cards in summer. But I will say I am not that person who enjoy into water under strong sunshine because of sunburn every time even if I put a lot of sunscreen.  I always go into pool after sunset. But it can't block me to love water.

I bought this fish die and beautiful sentiment die from Alexandra Renke. It's quite expensive than other brand but very special. Love it.

I try to draw the sea and beach scene by watercolor. But I wasn't satisfied that. I left the paper what I drew for couple days. Then I thought I could use it for something else. That became my today card's background. I used sea part to stick behind of fish frame for background. And I used sand part to did cut the beautiful sentiment.

Hello Friend!

I have this beautiful leaves branches frame die that is from Simon Says Stamp. After I die cut it on the white card stock, I thought I could color it. I decided to use my new watercolor. Recently I bought some artist level watercolor. I can feel those watercolor are amazing even if I am new to reach watercolor. They different with what I used before.

I watercolored those die cut leaves on the white Bristol paper. I didn’t choose the watercolor paper just because I want bright white result.

I also sponged the scene on the background panel and used the foam stripe to attached the frame on it.

Hope Your Day is Reel-y Great!

I really like those stamp sets that I purchased from Hello BlueBird. Very very cute. I thought I could use my new Holbein watercolor to make this card.

Recently I found the 100% cotton cold press 140lb watercolor paper from Bee Paper. It's a little more white than more Strathmore watercolor paper. And cotton paper absorbs water much better than others. I was very satisfied with my purchase.

I stamped the boat and boy with fishing tool. I used the masking paper for  this stamping. After ink dry, I used the liquid masking fluid to cover all images. Then I waited the masking fluid dry.

After 30 minutes waiting, I started to paint the background water and sand bank.  When the background dry, I removed the masking that all over the images. And colored the boat and boy.

The watercolor I used Yellow Ochre, Cerulean Blue, Ultramarine Deep, Prussian Blue,
Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Crimson Lake and Whit Gouache.

Shark Birthday Card by Avery Elle

Yesterday my daughter and I went to watch the movie "The Meg". The meg is a giant shark.  I thought I could make a shark card for fun.

This stamp set came with Scrap for Less last month kit. It's very cute small stamp set from Avery Elle. I decided to watercolor my card today.

I  stamped the shark on the watercolor paper. First I watered the paper around the shark by watercolor brush. Then I started Color the ocean. When I waited the first layer dry, I colored sky. Repeat this process until I was satisfied.

I changed small brush to color the shark. It’s simple card. I didn’t use heat gun. I like to wait nature dry.

Brushed Mountains

I used the leftover mask paper that made the mountains for card in last post. This time I didn't use sponging technique. I tried to used brush to brush ink that on the mask paper to the card. So the swap line showed.

It's first time to try this. I felt no too bad. So I turned it to a card.

I didn't add any color to sky. Only mountains and stamped the birds and sentiment. I also used the vanilla cardstock for the base that will make the front card pop up.

Bee happy

I just bought some Hello Bluebird stamps.  They are so cute and lovely. I used Bee Happy stamp set make today’s card.

At first, I used their grass die cut on cheap cardstock for stencil. They I used to sponge background grass land. After all done, I die cut this panel by wonky rectangle die.

I stamped all bees and flowers from this same stamp set on the Bristol paper and colored them by my new Arteza real brush pen.  And used the matching dies cut them out.

The last step was arranged all pieces on the background panel. I like the result the card is very cute.

Fishnet shaker card

I bought this wave embossing folder long time ago. But I never use it before. I thought I should clean my stash to check how many new products I never used. Today I got this idea to combine this embossing folder and Texture of sea die set.

I die cut the fishnet on the center of white panel that is A2 size. After I moved the fishnet, I embossed the same white panel. Then sponged the blue colors on it.

I also colored the fishnet by crumble cake and cut the center to make it broken. I added the accent sheet behind of fishnet hole and glued the fishnet back to the panel. Star fishes were from the same die set.

Every Little Kindness Makes the world Brighter

I decided to use the Rooted in Nature to make a scene card again . It's kind of simple card. I found that used sponge to make mountains and sky became my style.

I fussy cut a mask paper curve to make mountains and sponged colors on it. After making the mountain, I sponged the sky.

I stamped the single tall tree on the left of card. And stamped the grass on the ground. I also added the birds on the sky .
