You make me so happy

I like this big sentiment stamp. Also this stamp set come with a lot of small sentiment. Very useful.

I used Distress Oxide Ink to sponge the background. Today I used the whisper white cardstock to make my card. To be honest. Bristol white paper is much easier to blend, special for Distress Oxide Ink. The result is more smooth.

I splashed the water on the paper and tap the napkin on it to dry. I embossed the "you make me so" by gold embossing powder. And I colored the tiny flowers and leaves by Prismacolor pencils.

I cut the thin stripe for year from cheer designer series pattern paper and glue it under the Happy. To finish I added the pearls on the card panel. Then mounted the panel on the thick cardbase.

Joy Ornament card

Today I got up early. I am not a morning person. But I just had a idea for a card. I really wanted to try it.

I cut a circle on a white panel that is a little smaller than a A2 cardbase. Then I used the retired Stampin Up pine bough embossing folder to make texture on the on card. And I sponged the green color on the pine branch.

I cut a red glitter circle tag and covered the circle on the panel.

I made a white snow sky on the small piece white cardstock by cold diamond glitter. I also die cut small houses on the white card stock and colored windows. I used the foam square to add houses in front snow blue sky.

Before I planned to make a shaker card. Now I changed my mind to leave it open and added the snow on the ground and roof of house. Also I tired the gold thread on the red tag hole to made an ornament.

Sentiment Joy is from Nov. paper pumpkin box.

A lot of time I don't know how to use the pattern paper but I can't stop to pick the beautiful pattern paper. So I decided to use one for my card today.

This foil shinny beautiful paper is from Stampin Up year of cheer designer series paper. I fussy cut part of paper followed the images. And glued it on the bottom of cardbase. I added the thin gold strip on the both side of card.

I die cut "amazing" and "YOU" three times and glued together each other to make dimension. I brushed some shimmer on the both of them. Glued on the card and added some rhinestone.

Panada with balloons

Today I want to make something a little different on this card. For background, I dragged my ink pad directly on the card. Marina Mist for sky and Sahara Sand for ground. It looked texture on the card.

I colored the cute panda with balloon and fussy cut it.  The stamp is only one balloon with panda. So I stamped the only balloons on the other white cardstock and color them by new blender markers and fussy them out.

I used the foam squares to assemble the panda and balloons on the card.

Snowy day

My daughter really hope we will have snow this winter. Actually every year she has the same wish, but in Texas it's not dream coming true every year. So I thought I could make a snowy day forest card fro her.

I chose the heavy weight watercolor paper for background. I water washed the sky first and drew the the trees by the flat top watercolor brush. After dry, I stamped the Hero Arts layering trees (the one is on the right up corner ) over my water-colored trees to add more dimension. I also watercolor the snow bank and tree shadow. I just made a little ice under the right tree.

I stamped the snow all over panel and embossed by white embossing powder. I die cut the deer and colored it by Blick studio markers dark umber and light umber. I also added the white dots on its body. The I used the foam to stuck the deer on the card.

I added the round red dots on the tree like berry from my stash.

Winter village

Thanksgiving is great time to shop. I bought this penny black winter village die set. It's very funny die.

I die cut the village on the white card stock and color them by watercolor. I added the diamond cool glitter on the white trees and snow man. It didn't show well on the picture, but it is very shiny and bright in person.

For background, I used the Lindy's gang spring color. Beautiful color. After dry, I wrote the white dots on the sky by white pen. Also I embossed the sentiment on the sky by silver embossing powder.

I used two of the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle die to make the white frame. And used the foam strip to add dimension.

Thinking of you

Today I made a very simple card. At beginning, I want to make a winter scene with snow. But in this stamp set I never used this lonely tree. So I changed my mind to use this lonely tree to make a card. Also out of my window it’s still fall season. Leaves just started to turn yellow and fell down.

I watercolor background by Stampin Up ink twice. After dry I stamped the tree and sentiment on it.

Then I die cut the round corner rectangle by MFT die set.

Another Lawn Fawn card made by Belle

Before Thanksgiving break finished, Belle made another Lawn Fawn winter card to prepare for Christmas giving her friend.

She thought snowy day the sky would be dark. So she chose to add the silver grey to make sky instead of all blue color.

She still used the glitter for her snow land. Added the colored penguin and igloo on the card.
